Scott is an amazing trainer! He is committed to helping me meet my weight and fitness goals. I usually take a group class in the morning before going to work and it makes me feel so much better about the rest of my day. The workouts are always changing so I don't get bored and I don't dread going to the gym.
I love being part of this community and getting to know all of the members. They motivate me to push through when I'm tired. Glad to have found a sustainable workout routine so close to me in Long Beach Highly recommend!!!
Before I started training with Scott I could barely jump and reach 6 inches under the rim, now I'm dunking. My lateral quickness has improved a lot and I went from an ok defender to the best defender on the team. My speed has also improved extremely, I am now the fastest and quickest player on any team I'm on.
Came to check out this little shopping center and discovered I Defy Fitness! Not only is it close to my place but it's a different and new workout for me!! I get bored easily..but working out here includes maces, kettlebells, battle ropes and suspension ropes- makes squatting so much easier! Who knew!? The trainer did....and he was very knowledgeable and willing to help me focus on my own personal fitness goals (I want to become Wonder Woman). Definitely want to come back here to work on building my strength and my skills with the mace, very fun bat work that makes you feel like Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad :)

This is one of the best gyms I've worked out at--you can tell Scott (owner & trainer) is incredibly passionate about his work and helping clients achieve their goals. His classes are challenging, but fun with creative workouts and stretches I'd never been exposed to and target the entire body. In small group classes, he makes sure to give everyone individual attention to check form, make adjustments, and educate as needed. I started my first two weeks at I Defy all in and attended every day--I was amazed to see the start of my results in such a short time after 10 days. I've learned from Scott's coaching what to pay more attention to in my form to get the most out of my workouts both there and when working out on my own. Highly recommend you check out IDefy and what Scott has created there--worth every cent!!
This is simply the best work out ever, at 65 years young I feel great Just lost 20 pounds and have more body movement than I ever have had. Scott is an amazing trainer. Workouts are designed to make your whole body work with a fuller range of motion. I feel great. I recommend this training to anyone at any age. I feel stronger and more fit than ever before.
